This is an original poem written at the start of 2023. As a romance author or possibly just a dreamer, as my mother would say. This little poem has a little twist in its tale. Kiss Day Wishes can come true.

Kiss Day Wishes
Kiss day wishes; I wish you were here.
Only my deepest thoughts can draw you near.
Under a white coverlet of lace, I yearn for your embrace.
Serene lush pastures sway on a beautiful summer’s day.
White butterfly wings flutter in a rich golden haze.
O’ how my heart yearns for you — I miss you.
Kiss day wishes; I wish you were here.
Only my deepest thoughts can draw you near.
With our hearts and hands entwined in a blissful sigh, we kiss.
As our breaths became one, a cheery little chaffinch sang.
O’, I wish to hear his song and know you won’t be long.
My kiss day wish I send to you — I miss you.
Kiss day wishes; I wish you were here.
Only my deepest thoughts can draw you near.
A warm, tender whisper of, I love you, I won’t be long —.
And in my slumber, I did wonder;
Where you’ve gone — ‘O’ breakfast in bed.
That’s what you said; I love you, I do — I do.’
I’m so glad we tied the knot.
A sudden unexpected sensation of pleasure, a burst of trepidation eased into pure poetry.
Love, love, love, is a passion that makes our hearts sing.
Kiss day wishes filled with passion and love. The trepidation of it all and excitement until valentine’s day.
